As you know I am from beautiful Kashmir and my homeland gets really cold during winters, so the intelligent people from Kashmir developed the following idea to beat the cold.

It is called Kangdi.

Kangdi is a personal heater! Yes, all Kashmiris have their own personal heater.

You must fill up the kangdi with hot charcoal and carry it with your hand next to your body all the time.

But simply carring a kangdi is not enough. You must also wear a phiran. For us kashmiris, a phiran is like an overcoat. It goes over all the other winter clothes and under which, one carries the Kangdi. 

No need to worry, it will NOT catch fire!
